Merry Christmas everyone,
At the risk of sounding sappy and a bit too sentimental, I often take this time each year to thank readers for their continued patronage and support. Believe me when I say that I’m encouraged by every email (positive or negative), every comment posted and every anecdote shared.
Each year I take stock of life personally and professionally, not to mention everything in between. And each year I shake my head at why anyone should stop by The Mo’Kelly Report. Despite the seeming bravado and bluster, I (Mo’Kelly) am just a regular guy who happens to really enjoy writing in various and sundry forms. Your collective encouragement and even criticism drive me to provide the most thoughtful and thought-provoking content within my abilities.
Sometimes I hit…others I miss. Invariably all of this is a work-in-progress and hopefully you are noticing the progress over the past calendar year.

Not a bad year at all...
Such accomplishments are only possible with your support and encouragement and I thank all of you. That is why I try to respond to all emails and continue to seek to offer a voice and perspective less-often heard. In the coming month I hope to grow up, become an adult and move The Mo’Kelly Report to its own domain with better wallpaper and kitchen appliances. Given that I’m the writer as well as the maintenance crew, it’s a bit much for just one person, so please be patient with me. Not only am I looking for a new hosting site, it must be functional in the way which continues an ease of posting and tracking. Also, I want to be sure that the body of subscribers I have will be able to move seamlessly to the new site, whatever that may be.
In the interim, know that I appreciate all of you and am thankful for another year in which to write. There’s no greater joy for me and I’m glad I can share some of that with everyone.

It has been an honor to watch a professional at work.
During the year, I became one of those "negative" bloggers who might have ticked you off a few times. But I always reaped what I sowed on my own blog. I'm telling you- as soon as I disrespected you on YOUR blog, I was immediately disrespected on mine.
I know that we are Men of God, but I still believe that Karma is a "B-Word". :) And Karma has a good track record too.
But disagreements build good friendships, so I'm glad we disagreed on a whole bunch of stuff. And my dream for 2009 is similar. I want my blog to feature video content, more polls, and other exclusive items.
Until then, I'll just stop by here.
